Hi Everybody! I have found the next race that I would love to run in – the Red Shoe Run 5k in Birmingham, Alabama on January 23, 2016. However, I am going to need some help to be able to do this. This race is for a very good cause – The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama (RMHCA). Their mission to keep families close. Each night 41 families who have traveled to Birmingham for pediatric care are able to stay together in an affordable, comfortable and safe place just minutes from their child’s bedside. RMHCA takes away some of the financial stress and allows parents to focus on what’s most important– their child’s health.
I would be most grateful if I could raise enough funds to cover airfare and lodging, as well as to have enough extra money to donate to this great cause.
