Daily Stoic: Wherever You Go, There Your Choice Is

It doesn’t matter if we are in prison or a penthouse. We still have the freedom of choice. Will we choose a direction where we can do good or choose a direction to go down a dark path? Nobody has control over what goes on in our own heads except for you. As Ryan Holiday says in The Daily Stoic:

Whoever we are, wherever we are—what matters is our choices. What are they? How will we evaluate them? How will we make the most of them? Those are the questions life asks us, regardless of our station. How will you answer?
